Not sure what to say?

I met Steve when I was 9 or 10,when he would stop by "Bugs" house in the late 60's on 43rd st. as I grew up 2 doors down.He always was friendly.Steve always smiled and said Hi to me when we seen each other over the years at the races. The last time I spoke with him was at the Moto GP a few years ago,he was excited about going to Nevada to visit "Bugs".He truly was a nice guy and a Member of The Ramblers in the Glory Days. When I watch "On Any Sunday" and see his #32 bike next Dick's in the...

Thank you Barney for all the sailing tips, campfire jokes and fun at the lake... You will be missed by many.

I new Steve when he first started riding. I got him a job at Murphy steel in Emeryville that led to his iron worker career. What a great guy. I really admired his courage, humility and determination. I can see his smilng face as clear as ever. Happy trails my friend.

Barney, I didn't get to know you very long but I will miss your crazy ways. Thanks for the fun times at Mikey's on the mini bikes. It was always great to see your smiling face and great laugh.

Dear Barney,

You are a friend that is truly missed by all who knew you. You touched so many lives and we are all blessed for having had a chance to know you. You are thought of often & the many stories of times spent with you are told over and over again...and let me say, there are a lot of stories! You were certainly a character that was always entertaining to watch, listen to and just plain be around. Thank you for being our friend.
The walk down the road past the "pond"...

Barney,

Thanks for the great times!

barney, Thanks for everything!Your smiles, love, friendship, giving, and the laugh I hear in my head all the time. We all carry a part of you with us. I watch my litle 9 year old girl banging bars with the big boys and I always remember the day you and Mikey taught her what racing is. We all have many great memories of you and know you are with us as we make new ones. Thanks for everything Barney.
We all love you,
The Morton family.

Thanks Ed. My memories of him are forever tied to the Ramblers and the many years of fun he had with them.

Dear Steve,
I am thinking of you today as I do everyday. Missing you more than ever. It's still hard to fully take in that you are gone.
Our time together was too short but, we packed in a lot of fun, laughter and love. We had "Big Time Fun" as you would say. I feel lucky and blessed to have known you as closely as I did. I love you now and always.
