Not sure what to say?

I just recently found out about Steve's passing after searching for quite a long time to find him. We were best friends when we were stationed at Ft. Campbell. We did almost everything together. Many thought we were brothers and in a number of ways we were. It hurts that I never had a chance to say goodbye before I left Ft. Campbell. God speed Sgt. Steve Barton. Our memories will live forever. Air Assault!

Please accept my deepest sympathy to the family on your loss. I hope you will find comfort in God's promise at John 11:24&25. Knowing that there is a future for the one we have lost in death can be so reassuring.

Our Family would like to thank everyone during this difficult time this past year for all the love and prayers and support. Especially all his brothers at Clarksville Fire who saw him through his illness. God Bless You All.

Rest In Peace Steve...
