Not sure what to say?

I was always the big sister. Steve was my litle brother. He was 18 months younger than I was. He was the neatest finest "little brother", a sister could have had. This very kind, loving helpful brother will be greatly missed. I feel very fortunate to have had such a fine human being for my brother. Muriel Beason Cook

My Uncle Steve was my favorite Uncle of which I have many. He always made time for me and was interested in what was going on in my life. He always made me feel special and like I was his favorite nephew. I will truly miss him and will cherish the special memories I have of him always.

Steve was a very special uncle.I will miss our visits. We enjoyed discussing construction projects and design possiblities. The last time I saw him was 1.5 years ago. He drove down from L.A. to San Diego and we spent the day looking at building sites, houses and plans. We went to City Hall to check out zoning issues. It was such a fun day! We ate lunch with his long time college friend, Bill. Steve was on oxygen, but never spoke about his health. I wanted him to spend the night, but he...

I have a great memories of Uncle Steve both as an uncle to me and as a brother to my mother Muriel Beason. I remember his generous kind nature both through my own experience and from the stories shared with me by my mother. Certainly he was one of the stars in the family. Athlete, class president NASA engineer, Mensa Member. All those things that make one proud to be from the same family tree. But no hint of arrogance, no prideful nature Steve was in many ways a wonderful example to us all.

I had the opportunity to be around my Uncle Steve quit a bit from 1997-2003 when I moved back to Manhattan Kansas. I always think of someone who was kind and gentle. I never ever heard him say an unkind word about anyone. He always saw the best in people.
My thoughts and prayers are with you Candy, Stacey and Paige. Love your cousin Nixie

All our love and prayers to the family of Steve. My mother,Janice Baalman, always told us what a wonderful person he was.

To the family of Steve Beason, He was such a kind and gentle soul. He was one of my favorite cousins. We will all miss him! Love to all his family. Gary and Janice Baalman

My uncle Steve Beason was a humble genius who was a servant leader. All of us can learn much from his lifelong example.
