Steve Bing

In Louisville today, and decided to look up my biz mentor. Steve was such a great guy, had a profound impact on my career. I am forever grateful for the lessons you taught me. Julie, I wish you the best and know Steve will always be thought of fondly. Shawn Spalding

Steve was my cousin. Although we hadn't seen each other in many years I am saddened to read about his passing. My deepest condolences to his sister Barbara and the rest of his family.

So very sad to learn of the departure of a wonderful man and a true friend of many years. His intelligence and buoyancy will be missed as will his deep humanity. The world is now a little less fun.

I, too, am saddened to learn of Steve Bing's passing. He was a remarkably talented person and it was a distinct honor to have known and worked with him over the decades.

In my 78 years I've been blessed to have known and worked with numerous highly-skilled and intelligent folks -- none any more talented than Steve.

So sad to learn about this. We had a lot of fun together in his U of L days. RIP, my friend.
