Not sure what to say?

Thanks to all for sharing your meaningful memories and remembering Steve. He was the most genuine, loving partner in life with tremendous energy and love for family & friends. He always brought out fun and laughter in everything he did. I value each of your shared experiences with Steve as part of who he was. He always believed "a friend is a present you give yourself". His wit, zest for life and mischievous good nature are truly missed. He loved center stage, but more than that he...

Although Steve is no longer with us in form, his spirit and his love continue to grow in everyone that new him. We share that spirit everytime we tell a joke, give a hug, or put a smile on someone's face. I hope all of us will continue to honor Steve in that way.

Today is my birthday. Steve always sent me a birthday package with a special CD with a motivational statement and theme to the music he selected for me. I am going to share every compliment and well wish I receive today with Steve! Thanks Bro! Missing you!

It's hard for us to believe it has been a whole year and a Packer season since you left us. Though I know you were up there pulling some football strings for the Pack, we would gladly have had you smacking us in the shoulder in front of the TV...never thought I'd say that!
We too miss your infectous energy, the phone calls, and the cards, CDs, and presents left by that green and gold Santa on the porch at 4 in the morning.
A man is judged by the amount and quality of friends he has,...

It's hard to believe that it has been a year since Steve left us. He was truly a person with a zest for life and whole-hearted dedication to the things he loved. I especially admired his relationship with Donna. They had something most of us can only dream about.

You didn't have to know Steve for long to personally experience his over-the-top spirit. As a fellow Packer fan, I especially remember the hand-stinging high-fives he'd give when his beloved Packers made a great play. ...

Steve left us with memories of great times at the farm. Even though we did not see each other often the communication via emails and letters were a highlite of my day. He was a great friend and family man. He will be missed.

If Steve was in the front yard when I visited Twain, he always greeted me with a passionate wave of the hand and a big hello. It's hard to capture in words the resulting smile inside caused by Steve's excitement for life, family, and friends. He knew I didn't drink, but always offered me a beer ... cause he thought it was funny. That's Steve. I'll miss you.

Your love of life, family and friends was as infectious as your laughter and witty one-liners :-)

I am so thankful to have had you in my life, even for a short period of time. You will be forever missed but never forgotten.

Thank you for the joy you brought to our lives, Steve!

We are fortunate to live right next door to Steve and Donna.
I have often referred to Steve as "the mayor of the neighborhood".
His personality was larger than life and he was the one to turn
neighbors into friends. It's amazing all of the people he touched--
including many of my friends who he simply introduced himself to.
His spirit is still felt with the smell of barbeques and the sound
of classic rock.
