Not sure what to say?

Fond memories of Japan and Air Wing Five with Yokosuka neighbors: Steve, Jeanie, Jeffrey, and Amy. We flew together off USS Midway whenever Steve manned up an A-6. He was always seeking the illusive perfect flight. Rod & Lynne (departed 3/9/24)

Group of 10 Memorial Trees

Steve an Jeannie welcomed my young family to Atsugi with a pound cake in the middle of our first night. Their kindness and consideration were astounding to our young 0-3 senses. He made a huge difference in our lives and we think of them often. Fair winds and following seas- Mike "Cal" Worthington and Heather Worthington

I worked for ADM Briggs when he was COMSTRKFTRWINGPAC as the Wing Safety Officer right before I retired in 1990. He was one of the best officers I have ever known. Smart, resourceful, and fully supportive of some difficult decisions I had to make during mishap investigations at the time. He was the type of leader every naval officer should try to emulate. Fair winds and following seas Admiral. V/R Mink

We had fun in Japan and making Midway Magic work. Heartfelt condolences to Jeffrey, Amy and the rest of the family. Rod & Lynne Franz

Fair Winds and Following Seas, Admiral. Naval Aviation misses you. VR Hoser

Single Memorial Tree

Steve Briggs and I started our careers as Naval Aviators together in the same Pensacola Preflight Class in June 1963. We later served together in Attack Squadron NINE-FOUR (VA-94) at NAS Lemoore and aboard USS Coral Sea (CV-43). He was a great friend and will be greatly missed. RIP old friend.
