Not sure what to say?

We have many fine memories of the Steve and the Briles family thru our MYF activities at St Pauls Methodist Church. Please accept our sincere sympathies at this time. Sincerely, The Timmer Family (Lance, Suzette, Bob, Monique, Terri, and Michelle.

I worked with Steve at Ottawa Hills for quite a few years. Our nickname for him was the "amonia man" A title he was proud of. I will always treasure his smile, our talks and our visits on the street as he was on his way to get his favorite sub. I have yet to meet anyone who could match his kindness. He was truly a precious gem and I will miss him.

Sorry...March 9

Thank you all for your kind words. Steve was a good man, and he will be dearly missed by his family and friends!

Again...the family will greet friends today Wednesday March 10, from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8, with a memorial service at the 6 - 8 visitation.

I came in contact w/ Steve several years ago at OHS when I worked for GRPS delivering food. We got re-aqauinted and talked about our families growing up in the Cass and Highland neighborhood. Steve was responsive to my queries and showed great loyalty to his job expressing his gratitude that he was able to earn a living even though there were health concerns. I saw him several times on the street or sidewalk in his scooter - and boy could that thing go!!:-)
My sympathy to the family,...

My sincere sympathy to Steve's family and friends. He will be missed by many. I met Steve almost three years ago. I work at Amigo and Steve would come into the store and have service done on his scooters. I will always remember how proud he was of his scooters and how he would come flying down the sidewalk along Plainfield Avenue coming into the store. Steve was always kind and loved to share stories of family, his career at the school and about his kitties. He is one of my favorite...

Steve sounds like an amazing person who anyone would have been enriched to know. May your good memories comfort you. God Bless you all.
