Steve Wayne Brown

Steve was a friend and former classmate of mine at Gresham High School. I have often wondered where life has taken Steve, but I see that he was the same person I new back then. I remember his great sense of humor, his love for sports and competition. On occasion we would go on a long run together in preparation for the Seaside marathon in 1977.
My heart is saddened at Steve’s passing. I was hoping to reconnect at our 50th high school reunion.

In the span of our individual lifetimes we sometimes are lucky enough to meet some very special people. I can say that being able to spend some time with Steve Brown was a tremendous blessing for me. Steve is one of those people you never forget.
