Mr. Steve Wayne Conn, 66, of Bentley, passed from this life Friday, March 31, 2017, at the residence of his sister in Pollock.

Mr. Conn, a native of Pollock, was a mechanical engineer in the oilfield industry. He proudly served our country in the United States Army and was stationed in Korea.

There wasn’t much that Steve did not do or love, from singing, writing songs, to traveling and working in his shop. He was artistic, musically inclined, a great story teller and strong in his faith. But his greatest passions were his children and grandchildren. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend who was greatly loved and will be deeply missed by those that knew and loved him.

His parents, Doyle Welby and Mary Lou Olgesby Conn precede him in death.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 25 years, Deborah Elaine Rambo Conn; his children, Marcus Wayne Conn, Lucas Calvin Conn, Twilla Grace Conn and Crystal LeAnn Conn Furniss and her husband, Wade; step-father, Maxie K. Ingle; brother, Garry Doyle Conn and his wife, Virginia; sisters, Virginia Gayle Conn Lofton and her husband, Donald and Connie Conn Krischke and her husband, Maurice “Bubba”; six grandsons, and a host of other family members and friends.
