Not sure what to say?

So proud of my dad for all the lives he touched and his expertise with hand saws. He was a great grandpa & dad. love and miss him a bunch....

Leslie,

Deepest sympathy to you and your family. Any person that loves and cares for animals like you and your husband are super caring people. My husband Ron and I adopted Sweetie Pie from Steve and you because he wanted to have a lap cat. Unfortunately, my huband passed unexpectally but I will continue to take care of her like Steve and you.
Fondly, B. J. Bean-Mathias

While I never met Steve in person, we had a number of lengthy phone calls (and transactions) regarding hands saws. He was enormously helpful, and generous with his time. He was honest and assumed everyone else was as well; what a pleasue he was to deal with. I was very sorry to hear of his passing.

I am so sorry to hear of Steve's passing. I never met him but always heard great things about him and we did exchange several nice emails when I got a couple of his saws last month. I told myself that the next time I was in the York area I was going to stop by and meet this great guy. I'm sorry I won't have the chance to do so now, but those saws will now be very special to me. Steve's family is in our prayers.

Our sincere condolences to Leslie and Steve's children. We are so saddened that such a kind gentleman has passed. Those who were fortunate to know him have suffered a true loss. His shoes will be very hard to fill.

Steve changed our lives, our hearts, our souls. He made us want to be better people. He always had those words of wisdom for us whenever we needed them. Looking back over the 9 short years I knew him, he always had a smile, always had an ear to listen. He was a best friend to Heath. I'm so sorry he never had a chance to meet our youngest son. I feel like our son missed out on knowing a great man. There will never be another soul like his....he will be missed by our family & thought of daily....

Leslie and Children,
My condolences are with you all. The news came to me as a big surprise for Steve was just in the store only a few weeks before. He greeted me at the door with his big glowing smile and his favorite question how is that Mercedes doing? He left the store jokingly with the tradition in saying to the staff, I helped her buy her dream car. I have known Steve for several years and he was always a part of my career and family. We grew together as a family. We...

I a very saddened to hear of Steve's passing. I was a customer ( John Deere York) of Steve and he always had time to say hello and talk no matter how busy he was at his sharpening. Have not seen him in a few years but will be in my prayers. God bless Leslie and your family. Steve will be missed.
