For the past couple of days Steve and Gwen have been heavy on my heart, just realizing that it´s the Anniversary of his death and the day my now deceased husband received a new heart. We had all met at University of Michigan hospital with both husbands having gone through the same surgery. Strange how God puts people in your life, we never know how long they will be here on earth but as long as they are in our hearts and memories they remain forever. Rest in Heavenly peace Steve.

I was just thinking about him yesterday, do they say karma? He was a wonderful man and a wonderful employee for Washtenaw County. At juvenile court he cared so much for his children that came his way. He also was a talented actor/singer. He once brought Jeff Daniels, actor, to see the children at the lock in facilities.

Mr. Dixon was my speaking coach for oratory, public speaking, and acting and was one most amazing coaches and mentors I had while growing up. It was truly an honor and pleasure to have known him. Condolences and blessings to the family as always ❤

I knew Steve from theatre. We both were actors in Creative Ensemble. However, he was older than us college kids, so there was a respect that went to him on that account. In addition, he earned even more respect because of who he was. Always pleasant, always ready to help, and always on top of his game, I learned how to be in theatre and set limits and goals for my performances. Plus, he could sing! Such a wonderful voice! Steve, you have touched so many, I know your absence is felt in ripples...
