Steve Eggers

I grew up with Steve in the early 60's. His house was three down from mine. He was my life for about 8 years. I couldn't believe that an athletic, older, popular dude would let me hang with him. We spent countless hours playing sports games and just hanging out. His parents and sister Lora always made me feel so welcome in their home I did see him again in 2007 and met his wife when I visited my cousin in Tulsa. Was great to see him again. Barbara and Family: Carla and I are sorry for your loss. We remember well coming back to Oklahoma in 1970 from California with the group that included you and Al, while Steve finished high school in California. Those were fun times for all of us and something to hang onto during this difficult time.

Steve was my oldest friend. We were both born in San Francisco in 1952. Our fathers worked for Tidewater Oil and we lived in the same apartment building. Our fathers got transferred in the late 50's to Southern California. The Eggers moved to North Hollywood, CA and the Lennemann's moved to Bakersfield, CA.
