Hartselle

Steve Evans, 58, of Hartselle died Monday, November 22, 2010, at his residence. He was born July 7, 1952, in Missouri to Leon Evans and Elsie Mae Whitehead Evans. He was a playground equipment salesman with Dixie Marketing.

Graveside service will be today, November 23, 2010, at 3:30 p.m. at Falkville City Cemetery with the Rev. Milan Dekich officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. There will be no visitation.

Survivors include his ex-wife, Sandy Nance; one son, Mark A. Evans of Hartselle; two daughters, Christy Michelle Evans of Hartselle and Brittany Leighann Evans of Decatur; his mother, Elsie Evans of Falkville; one brother, Billy Evans of Falkville; two sisters, Tina Rogers and Margaret Stinson, both of Falkville; and five grandchildren, Johnna, Alana Mae, Brianna, Caden and Conner.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
