Dear Kristina, Hannah and Marcus, My deepest condolences. I am Steve's colleague from nex+Gen and I was so shocked and saddened by the tragic news. Steve was such a kind person, and a great story teller. We often talked about retiring and the Yugoslavian basketball Dream Team. Steve was probably the only person who knew so much about basketball players from the place where I grew up. Students at nex+Gen respected and loved Steve. I hope you can hold on to the great memories and moments...

Dear Tina, I am sorry for your loss. God is shining on you and Steve.

My heart goes out to the Flores family during this time of sorrow. Such a terrible and sudden loss. I have such fond memories of the way Steve took my son under his wing when he was a child- he still talks of the fun adventures he had with Steve. I'm sure that Steve touched the lives of so many young people and there is strength in those collective memories. Keep his light glowing in your hearts forever.
