Not sure what to say?

Rip steve. But without sounding rude - people are confused and think it's steve from outback truckers. They are two different guys. But I can see how people would easily be confused. My thoughts go out to this family tho!

I'm so sorry. I am watching on Foxtel now. He was a true Aussie. Few are left. I thought I was a good driver from Army but he was a mechanic as well. So sad, I liked him and admire the risks he took. He was a gentleman. Am watching him now on the Talamin track. He loved what he did and took risks nobody else would. Thanks for the memory. Am watching him now going to Balgo. Truckers are the lifeblood of our country.

What a true legend you will be sadly missed and and never forgotten. My deepest sympathies go your family Steve your memory will live on buddy

Known worldwide, Steve was a star that didn't know he was one! He is a legend that we can inspire to be. Steve you are missed by many but never will be forgotten as you shine on our televisions and on the internet. A great Australian.

He was my favourite trucker on Outback. He showed he loved driving and his family and helping others. I just started watching the show so he has passed a while back. RIP
