This is very late I know, but had a moment and thought I'd share. I did not know Steve well, but knew him well enough. In about 08, we met and struck up a conversation at South Valley - we talked for over an hour. We met again a few years later and he spoke medical issues and his fight to get his med back. We only saw each other 2 to 3 times per year, but when I saw him, we had the best conversations, mostly about flying and family. He had a profound and positive effect on me as a person of...

Steve Guenard was a good man, a great guy to be around, a dedicated and skilled aviator, whose passion and wisdom will continue to be admired and both sadly and greatly missed.
Godspeed, Skipper.
We hope to someday join you out west .

We had the pleasure of being neighbors with Steve and Ann for nearly 20 years in Park City. Steve and Ann were the kindest people and even invited us over for the jambalaya party before we had even built our house. We are sorry for the loss of Steve. We are glad that he was able to attend the Pilot Camp at Wendover this year; a project that he was instrumental in making it a reality. We will carry this on in his memory. The crew at Historic Wendover Airfield.

Steve and I were roommates at Delta new hire school in Atlanta. A very smart, witty, helpful friend. Later, he gave me wise advice and inexpensive parts as I was building an airplane of my own. Steve was one of the nicest people I have ever known.

I am so sorry for your loss of husband, father and grandfather. He left a wonderful family legacy and we are so glad to have the Guenards joined with our family through Kristin. Our love to all!

Steve flew F/O on the DC-9 out of MSY years ago. A great guy and pilot. He flew the J-3 Cub, that his dad bought brand new, into my little airstrip several times. I remember he built a WAR 1/2 scale Replica Fockwolfe 190. I am so sorry to hear of his passing and my condolences to his family and close friends.

I remember right, he had a J-3 Cub his father bought brand new. Steve flew it in to my little airstrip several times when he was living in this area. My sincere sympathy to his family and close friends.
