This popped up in my email today, and, must admit, seeing the beautiful picture of my dear college friend made me smile. I would love to hear about his son, and, how the family is doing. Steve and I enjoyed a very close relationship, he was loved by my mom and family and will forever be in our hearts.

To my husband in which I miss every single day I know what it truly means now to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Words could never express how I feel and what I'm going through in losing a husband and a father. Stephan truly misses his "Big Steve" daddy and we pray for you every night.
I find comfort in knowing that you are with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. And that we all would be entering the Kingdom of Heaven at our appointed time.

Dear brother Steve, although you were born the oldest, and I was born the middle, and Amanda the youngest, I never felt envious of either one of u. There is no one who can replace u as my oldest sibling. I love u dearly and I miss u. I believe u are with me in spirit and I believe u are with me in my heart always. Until we c each other again. Love sister Chantay.

Steve, your mom think of you every day. I'm so glad that you knew we had your back. I'm reading Psalms 37 because I know that God has a plan. It gives me peace. You knew you wasn't suppose to be sick and I'm glad you realized that. Please wait for me.

I am deeply saddened to learn so late of Big Steve's passing. I have been searching hopelessly for years to find what I consider one of my closest friends through college at Mizzou. While I know he is in the hands of our Lord, I missed him for years and will always remember the days we had together. Especially those days in St. Louis we spent at my mom's home. While this gives me closure in my search for Steve, I know some day we shall meet again. I would love to talk to his family and...

Happy birthday Steve. You always been a wonderful brother and one I admired. People who know you are still talking about how geniune you were and how you impacted their lives in some way. You always had kind words to give and always hope the best for others. You always went out of your way to serve others.
You are an inspiration for me to keep striving to do good and to put my trust and confidence only in God. If I remain steadfast and keep God first in my life, I too will see the...
