Steve was the most admirable man I've known, and I knew and loved Steve well. He extended the kindness and generosity represented by his many accomplishments to my family in every way possible. My condolences to Steve's friends and family. Steve helped me several times when I attended Southern Oregon University. On the the few occasions that we interacted he was friendly, knowledgeable and considerate. He will be missed.
