Just wanted to express my sorrow at the passing of such a great man. I met Steve over 26 years ago when I first enterred the fire service. He was a very positive influence on me and helped me decide to become a paramedic. Claire, please take solice in knowing he loved you. Brittany and Brooke I know he loved you deeply, he told me so. What an amazing person! I first met Steve 17-years ago at Solitude Ski Resort. Steve encouraged me to enter the fire service when I was a young ski patroller. Thanks to his words of wisdom, guidance, advice and encouragement, I have a career in the fire service today.
