Not sure what to say?

To All of the family of Steve,

Joan and I recently learned of Steve's passing and regretted that we didn't have the opportunity to attend his visitation and funeral mass.

We met Steve at St. Patrick's and would always like it when he attended the Larry-O-Key happy hour. He seemed to enjoy coming to the show and listening to the music.

I would usally greet Steve with a salute and he would always smile.

May God rest his soul and offer comfort to all of his...

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Steve was a wonderful "cousin-in-law." I was the flower girl at their wedding. My first cousin Dorothy (Bonnie) & her handsome husband Steve were very special to me, and to my late parents, Evelyn & Leo Kapcia.
I know they are together now, and in a better place, but they will be missed by those of us left behind.

A first class guy. I've know Steve for about fifty years, long before he took up golf. Steve was one of those guys that you'd look forward to seeing. He was always friendly and knew how to stop and smell the roses. Have a good rest Steve. You'll be missed by more than just your immediate family.

Dear Ric, Steve, Mike and Maureen, please accept my condolences on the passing of your Dad.
My memories of Dorothy and Steve began from when I first met Dorothy at a small printing company called DuPage Mailing Service on Ogden avenue in Downers Grove and continued through the growth of Jais Inc. in Lisle.
Dorothy and Steve were always most affirming and encouraging to a young sales rep. They contributed greatly to my business and personal success. I garnered values and attitudes from...

I'm so sorry to hear the news of Steve's passing. It is truly a loss. Some of my earliest memories are from Dupage Printers. Steve and Dorothy were such good people, even to the pesty kids that bothered their Mom's at work! My heart goes out to the whole family. He will be missed. I am sorry I can't be there, but I will be thinking of you all.

I also have many great memories of Steve and Dorothy. They meant a great deal to our family. I will always remember their kindness and generosity. They even let us live in their house in Lombard when we were between moves. Whenever I saw them they were smiling and upbeat. They were always curious and caring about our kids. They will truely be missed. I am sure that Dorothy has a tee time in heaven ready for Steve's arrival.

Sorry to hear about Steve. He was a wonderful man.

I have many fond memories of Steve and wife Dorothy through the years. They were great friends of my parents. The Fourth of July will never be the same for the Van Kampen clan. We spent so many 4ths together and it was great the year my mom, Hazel, and Steve were co-Grand Marshalls of the parade. Thanks for all you did for Lisle with your awesome printing! (and sharing your parking lot for the fest!)
