Not sure what to say?

Mary - I wish you well at the holidays. I'm sure without Steve, it may not feel the same. But all of your friends here in Ohio are wishing you well. I wanted you to know that.

My condolences to his family. I grew up listening to his shows, his commercials. He was a movie star to me. And out of no where I meet him in florida by knocking on doors for work. When I heard his voice, I smiled and said I know you from somewhere. Fist thing that came to mind was Him saying Hi ya gang Kirkie here. Well he's been an inspiration and wished I could have spent more time with my cha cha cha guy. I'll see you again if the good lords willing.

There were many radio stations in Dayton but the most popular was WING and the most beloved personality was Kirkie. Everyone in these messages has written sentiments I would express too. In the end, it´s all about the person he was and he said it best with his last wishes to everyone. He lived that way. Thank you Steve. Miss you in my heart and all that you meant to those still remembering those golden years.

Thank you Kirkie for all the smiles.

My husband and I had the honor of having Steve as a neighbor when he lived in Miamisburg (on top of the hill). Always a joy to talk to. He always gave us some of his spaghetti sauce, he had made from scratch the same day, We missed him when he moved to Florida. We were lucky enough to run into him a few times he came back to Miamisburg. One time was just several years ago at chumps, he was with Amy at the time. It was nice to meet you Amy. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. God...

It was a great honor to know Steve. Enjoy taking donuts to the station at the start of his shift

Thank you for my wonderful memories! Prayers for your family and friends!

So many wonderful memories of him. My youth years were spent living in the country and taking our transitor radio outside so we could hear everything going on. Job well done. R.I.P.

Condolences to The Kirkpatrick Family. My teenage memories in the late 60's listening to Kirkie on my transistor radio in the mornings on WING. RIP: Kirkie here....Ahhh Cha Cha Cha! Thank You for giving Me that uplift in the morning for a Fun start of The Day.
