Not sure what to say?

Steve was everything that is great about this country. A man of faith, loved his family, a leader of men who could be relied on to raise the game of all those associated with him. Those of us who knew him will forever be affected, he lived a great life of service that showed us all what's possible.

Miss you Steve. Think of you often.

Hi Major Long, your unfortunate passing at The Pentagon was not in vain.

You are still remembered and shared with my students. A former soldier under your command. How the time passes yet the day lives on. You were such a great commander and I know you are an angel over many soldiers and loved ones still today. You lived with kindness and courage and an astute vision of moral values. Prayers and blessings are wished to your family and children. This war continues and affects all of us in so many ways. May each of us continue to live with the memory of great...

RIP, Major Long! Thanks for your service in the US military.

Love you Steve! Looking forward to seeing you again at the Return of Christ. God is Great. Weapons Platoon A Co. 2/75 Ranger Battalion and Huck Creek were blessed and both better places because of you! I want many more hikes with you in those mountains.
