Not sure what to say?

My heartfelt sympathy goes to Steve's family at this difficult time. My mother Leona, and his mother Mildred, a special Aunt to me, were sisters. The beautiful obituary for him helped me to know what a wonderful person he was. Not being a close relative does not diminish the sadness I feel. My prayers are with all of you.

My sympathy to Steve's family, from a cousin from Waukesha who never really got to know him. Our mothers were sisters -- his mother, Mildred, a favorite aunt of mine. Peace & blessings to all who knew him and were loved by him!

Jessica, Rachel, Steve Jr., and Beth; my sincere and deepest sympathy goes out to you. You are grieving so hard because you lost so much in a great Dad, a gentle and strong leader. May all your great memories sustain you.

Dawn, my deepest sympathy goes out to you. You and Steve raised four beautiful children together and you have many beautiful memories to hold in your heart. May those memories sustain you.

Steve Sr., I pray you enjoy the fruits of God's promises.

Steve was a great team mate and friend. I was privileged to play with him and will never forget all the good times with Brownie and the Wausau West baseball team.

To his entire family, my sincere and deepest sympathy, may your great loss be comforted by the many wonderful memories of Steve.

God Bless You, Rob Braaz

I played Legion Baseball with Steve. We competed against each other in high school. Steve was a great teammate and a good friend. RIP Steve, and so sorry to the Luedke family.

So sorry to hear of Steve's untimely passing. My condolences to my sister-in-law, Jackie and the rest of the siblings.

So sorry to everyone in the family for your tragic and unexpected loss. May all the memories you have made over the years bring you comfort.
