Steve passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2017. Steve was a resident of Central, South Carolina at the time of passing. He was a Pickens High School Graduate and had also attended the Mendenhall School of Auctioneers. Liberty Mortuary Serving Liberty South Carolina Steve Mason Central, SC A memorial service for Mr. Mason will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, July 16, 2017 at Liberty Wesleyan Church. A visitation will be held following the service at the church. Memorials may be made to Pickens County Meals on Wheels: P.O. Box 184 Easley, SC 29640 or in person at 349 Edgemont Ave. Liberty, SC 29657.

I new Steve for 10 years or better as a business acquaintance first and then as a friend. I spoke to him on the phone just week before last. He called me often to share prayer requests that he new of. He spoke to me in tears about the successes of his son. And 9 years ago after my son had an extensive and critical stay in the hospital, he called often asking how he was doing. He always spoke of me in a more positive light than I deserved. Steve was a true friend. I will miss him.
