Not sure what to say?

To Scott and family,
Shocked and saddened by this news, such a loss to family and friends. We worked together at Martin Marietta in the early 80s. Steve was one of my favorites. May you all find peace and healing. Gail B. McCarthy

Although I didn't know Steve personally, I wanted to offer my condolences to you for your loss. I just connected with Scott on FB as we discussed his book and memorial projects, and I shared with him that my father was an engineer who worked on the first generation of space rockets: the Apollo/Saturn projects. He started as a radar man in the Air Force and transferred to Boeing in New Orleans and then Cape Kennedy in Florida for the launches. He worked in the space program from the early...

My years in Huntsville were enhanced by knowing Steve, his friendship and dedication to family, job, and co-workers. I was fortunate to spend a couple days in April for a quality visit with Gabby and Steve. I will miss Steve and pray for Gabby and family.

Dear Gaby, Ashley, & Jordan,

I am so sorry for your loss. You are all in my prayers. I had just seen Jordan two weeks ago and found out that Steve was sick. Gaby, I know that you two were soul mates. Know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers,

In the short months I was blessed to know Steve, he had already become a friend and mentor to me, and was the first person to heartily welcome me into the workplace and into the Huntsville area, when I was new and far from home. I will never forget that, or him. May God Bless your family, and my prayers will always be with you.

Though I did not know Steve personally, I am sure he was well loved by Debbie, her mother and rest of family. My heartfelt prayers go out to you all. No words can speak the depth of your grief and loss. I hope you find solace in each other and your shared memories.
With Sympathy,
Laurel

I am saddened about the loss of Steve. I enjoyed knowing Steve and working with Steve at Boeing. He was very knowledgeable, professional, friendly and helpful with such a great attitude. I routinely bumped into Steve at coin shows across the southeast. He was always eager to share his knowledge of numismatics. Rest in peace.
