Not sure what to say?

Steve Post was one of the greatest. Of particular note was his exasperation with Richard Nixon which I felt also, but he expressed perfectly. May he reach some form of enlightenment.

Dear Laura,
We worked together on 'Lenny' at the Aquarius in LA in the early 70's. Your long calls with Steve in NY provided a daily dose of happiness across the miles. My thoughts are with you at his loss.

I place Steve Post with Marty "Transit TimeTable" Wayne and Pegeen Fitzgerald as among WNYC's more unique radio personalities. Thanks, Steve, and enjoy the Golden Studio.

When Whipporwills call, and Evening Is nice, I'll hurry to My Blue Heaven.

I started with Steve in the late 60s. Marshall Efron, Richard Nixon, Bob Dylan, Gene Austin, Bela Bartok. Just loved him.

I just missed Bob Fass but then caught Steve Post on BAI and was very much taken. He was terrific. Fass was a mentor of his but Post was mine.

I used to listen 'religiously' to Steve Post's "Room 101" which was the best show on WBAI. In fact, it was the best show on radio. When it went off the air, I grieved. And now I grieve for Steve Post himself..May he rest in peace.
He was brilliant, hilarious and his collection of Nixon memorabilia was iconic. He also had the great idea of taping a song "Oh Had I a Magic Thread" sung and harmonized by Joan baez and Judy Collins which I taped myself from his radio show. I still enjoy...

I so loved Steve on BAI, especially his hilarious
Programs with marshal Efron. Jeff ambers, Millburn nj
