Steve Ramm

Stephen Dale Ramm, 54, of North Plate, passed away January 24, 2014 at the University Medical Center in Omaha. He was born May 19, 1959 to Jack L. and Alice B. (Carlson) Ramm at North Platte. Steve graduated from Saguaro High School in Scottsdale, AZ, then returning to North Platte. Steve was destined to be in the building and construction business. He was employed by Homan Brothers for a number of years before starting his own business as general contractor under the name, Ramm Construction. He excelled as a builder and he did in everything in this life. He was most recently the territory manager for Heartland Pella. On June 30, 2001, he was united in marriage to the love of his life, Milette (Simonson) Kelliher in North Platte. Steve enjoyed golfing, football, his friends, and his loving family. Family was always Steve's priority especially his beautiful daughter, her husband. He will be missed for his beautiful smile, charming laugh, and kisses for all the girls. He is survived by his wife, Milette of North Platte; his daughter, Stephanie (Jake) Wiesen of Scottsdale, AZ; step-son, Brandon (Terri Burchell) Kelliher of North Platte; sisters, Barb (Bill) Schoenstein of Gilbert, AZ, and Bev (Jim) Keime of Parker, CO; brothers, Jack (Janet) Ramm of Waconia, MN and Jim (Linda) Ramm of Prescott, AZ; step brother, Jim (Roseanna) Weaver of Ahwatukee, AZ; a special niece, Debbie Kraft; and he was expecting his first grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a nephew, Brady Kraft. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in his memory. Online condolences may be shared at www.carpentermemorial.com. Funeral services will be 1:30 pm Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church.The casket will be closed at the church. Burial will be at Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 8:30 am to 8:00 pm Tuesday with the family receiving friends from 5 to 7pm at Carpenter Memorial Chapel, which is charge of arrangements. There will be a celebration of his life at the Depot Restaurant, 520 N Jeffers St, after the internment.

Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry hearing about Steve's passing. While we lost touch over the years, I will always remember the golden summers we spent in "The River Rat Gang" out on the North Platte river. Great times and very fond memories. I am sure will be welcomed in the hereafter.

Stephanie and Milette I so know what you are going through right now. Words cant express how bad I feel for you both. Steve was a wonderful man, great friend, and most of all a great dad. My love to you both. I will cherish all of my memories of him. His great smile and laugh most of all. Sorry I cant be there for you both but know that I am thinking about you and grieving right along with you.
