Steven Michael Schopen passed away Friday, October 16, 2020, at 2:10 a.m. at Sanford Heart. Steve was born September 15, 1962, in Deadwood South Dakota, he lived in Central City.
At the age of 5 he and his family moved to Spearfish, SD in 1972 He his mother and sister moved back to Deadwood, South Dakota.
At the time of his death he had lived in Sioux Falls, South Dakota area for about 20 years. Steve was known for his love of life, good sense of humor, enormous kind heart he will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his son Justin and wife Desiree, 3 grandchildren Brittany, Aleaha and Dennis, Box Elders SD, 3 brothers Chad - Kerry Wieting Woonsocket SD, John - Jodi Schopen Bennington NE, and Troy Schopen North Dakota, 3 sisters Teresa - Donnie Jemming Woonsocket SD, Kristine - Jason Weiting - Derby Shelley Id, Teresa- Gary Erishman, Pierre SD.
He was preceded in death by 3 Sets of Grandparents, 3 Uncles, and 4 Aunts.
Services and Burial will be held at a later date.
