Steve Steinberg

I am so saddened to learn of Steve's passing. I got to know Steve during graduate school, where I was lucky enough to work with him on a class project for CS 252 (graduate computer architecture). Largely because of Steve's brilliance, our class project turned into a paper published at a top computer architecture conference. I was Steve's personal assistant for 2-1/2 years in the early 2000's. I had an unrestricted view into his life while I worked for him and he was the most unique, particular, and brilliant person I knew.

My heart goes out to his parents, sister, and sons. I am grateful to have known him and will miss my dear friend.
