Not sure what to say?

I just saw this tonight. My deepest condolences Carolyn. I used to go With you and your sister and Arlen to visit your mom. With love and respect, Dan Weaver. I sold my house in Boise and now live in Meadview, AZ. by Lake Mead.

My mother, Elizabeth Hansen, was the principal at Highlands when the Tertling boys were there. Mom was always delighted by Steve and his personality as well as his intelligence. She would laugh as she talked about the brothers. Joe & Carolyn, you were parents who were active in supporting education & more personally in supporting my mom. She admired you both. Thinking of you Steve

I was sad to hear of Steve's passing. I was introduced to Steve by my boyfriend back in the day while attending a festive pool party at Steve's home. It was around the time of Boise High Graduation. It was a great celebration with friends everywhere. I remember what an impression Steve made with his contagious smile & laughter that seemed to spread through out the evening. I recall "Party" being spelled out on top of the pool house with towels. Those were fun sweet memories I still cherish....

A year later and my heart is still heavy over Steve's passing. It's remarkable to read the comments on this site and learn how much he meant to SO many people. Steve was truly an incredible human being and we were all so blessed to have known him. I think of him often, especially of our days flying hawks with Morley.

May we all cherish our wonderful memories of Steve.

Dear Terteling Family,
Please know that even though Steve has been gone for almost a year, he has not been forgotten.
Darci, If there was ever a person who could find a way to let you know he was still around, it would be Steve.
He would have to prove that humor was trans-universal.
He was such a nice guy. R.I.P. Steve.
