Not sure what to say?

Please accept my condolences . I'm so sorry for the loss of your loved one. May the word of God comfort and strengthen you. 2 Thessalonians 2:16,17

Steve was the first person I met with when considering joining The Staubach Company in 2008 and was running the tenant rep group when I ultimately joined JLL. We enjoyed many great times with both he and Gina, and also with Christy and Kyle. Our daughter, Anna, and I enjoyed a 3 day rafting trip with the four of them just 6 years ago over the July 4th break. Steve was a good friend and valued confidant and is greatly missed.

My favorite memory of Steve was probably the last time I got to see him. It was the Wednesday before and I went by his office to share a bit of good news I had just received. He was on the phone with Gina and he waved me in. After a playful exchange with her, he was off the phone.

You coming in to see where I am on the blog? he asked laughing. I told you this ones a tough one. Whyd you let me do it? I told you Ill get on this weekend.

We had a bit of a laugh. I told him...

Steve was definitely one of my favorite brokers. His competitive nature was unmatched. At the end of the year, he would leave a note on my desk that was just a number. Didn't leave his name or anything else. I knew who the note came from and would then stop by his desk to confirm that the number he wrote down was indeed his revenue for the year. He'd also ask if he was #1 in the group and would be so disappointed if he didn't make that #1 spot. One year, he found out that another...

As I reflect on the thirty years that Ive known Steve & Gina Thelen, I will remember a couple that enjoyed a long loving marriage to the end. They enjoyed spending time with one another and were dedicated to each other for life. Steve & Gina were committed to raising two wonderful children, Kyle & Christy, with a Christian education and church values.

Steve excelled in so many areas of life because of his competitive spirit and tenacious hard work. He was a man of faith, loyal...

When Steve wanted to join The Staubach Company 19 years ago, I was one of the Staubach team who met with him. Steve was very excited to join TSC and it could not have been a better fit. Steve and Gina were a fantastic couple and they fit in with our culture from day 1. Steve and Gina will be missed greatly.

Steve, Kyle and I were fishing at the Kvichak Lodge in Alaska a few years back. Obviously we had a great time fishing for salmon/rainbow trout but playing Texas Holdem was very entertaining. Great fun. Lastly, Steve was my "go to" guy for any assignments in Dallas from my Fort Worth JLL clients. I will miss him. Pat McDowell

I only knew Steve for a brief period but in that time he showed it doesn't take more than a single interaction to make an impact. I was invited to his home for a holiday dinner and him and Gina were so incredibly welcoming and kind. I can see where Christy gets her sass, genuine heart and ethic! Even for the brief time I knew them it was such an incredible blessing. My deepest thoughts and prayers go out to you Christy and Kyle. May you always be guided by their shining light and positive...

I extend my deepest condolences to the Thelen family during this very difficult time. This came as such a shock. Steve was always a very kind genuine gentleman who will be missed by many people. I never met Mrs. Thelen, but I am sure she was just as kind as he was. I hope the love and support from family and friends will help you during this difficult time.
