Steve M. WALKINSHAW

Steve and I grew up together in Rockport, where our family has summered since 1960. We purchased his family sailboat called the Jolly Roger and did some sailing together on that craft. In our later years I would see Steve at Quarry Ridge lane. Steve was a constant presence in my mothers life, always there for her and assisting her. He was like a member of our family. Steve was a wonderful man and human being. We had many long talks about life together on our way back from Logan Airport...

It is with profound sadness that I write these words. Steve was such a good friend to me. I´ve known him and his family since he was 10 or 11 years old where we all met on back beach, my children included. He was a kind and giving person and was great help to me and my family on many occasions. I shall miss him. Phyllis Kaplan (Mrs. Henry Kaplan)

To Steve's family and friends, my heartfelt condolences. What a great guy that will be greatly missed. It's hard to believe that we were talking and joking just hours before. He was a generous person. He and Linda were a huge help to me last year while I was going through a difficult time. Mark and I will miss you so much.
