Steve Williams Jr.

I had the privilege of being a student of Steve's in the '70s. Steve was a great teacher, and an inspiration. I had the privilage of helping out with "Murrayizer II" from time to time in shop. I am only sorry I didn't keep in touch more over the years.

Mr Williams was my auto shop teacher at A.I. DuPont HS class of 1985. Mr. Williams taught me how to be a strong, focused educator.
He was the one teacher that saw something in me non of the other teachers could.
I will never forget you Mr. Williams.

Mr. Williams was my homeroom teacher for all 4 years at AI. He had a great smile every morning. I was also on his track team during my freshman and sophomore years. I never placed in the top 3 in any race. I was very close in one race to coming in 3rd, the next morning in homeroom I apologized for not doing better. Mr. Williams said something I've never forgotten, "Never apologize, you always run with heart." Thanks Mr. Williams, I've tried to pass that message on. Do everything with heart.
