It was an honor and a privilege to of met him! He was a decorated American War Hero, a loving husband, father, father en-law, a great grandfather. I grew to admired him through stories about his life through my dearest friend, his devoted daughter-inlaw, Michele Zaputil. Grampa GI JOE as they call him was a loving, caring man, who was very devotion to his family! They were all very blessed to of had him in there life's for so long! He will forever be missed!! My deepest sympathy to all.
