He Never Lost a Friend
Steven Weinberg was not a cook, but he loved to go to the supermarket. He was not a collector, but he was nonetheless a familiar figure at garage sales in New City, N.Y. As his family's social secretary, an assistant basketball coach for his children, a man of 41 who kept every friend he ever made, all the way back to childhood, Mr. Weinberg never passed up an opportunity to run into someone he knew.

He enjoyed his position as an accounting manager at Baseline Financial Services, but it was as Laurie Weinberg's husband of 14 years; as the father of Lindsay, 12, Samuel, 8, and Jason, 6; and as a people magnet that Mr. Weinberg glowed. His wife said he had a distinct relationship with each of his children but a single message for all: "Stop fighting." He planned every family outing with other families. Seven hundred people attended his memorial service.

Not sure what to say?

Gone so tragically soon.

Saw a documentary this week about that terrible day, but I was so moved by the love people had and still have for you. God bless you.

May God be with you Steven and guide your family through its trials and tribulations.

In memory of Steven,
I think of you often . We worked together and I enjoyed the times we laughed about things over dinners You will never be forgotten,

In memory of Steven Weinberg. I worked with Steve at Execu-Search. I remember always going up to his office and joke around. He always talked of so highly of his wife and children and how much he loved them. His memory is always remembered.

My school gave out names of those who died in the attacks on 9/11/01 to remind us about how many people died and each one of them was a mother or father or son or daughter or cousin, and friend that will be missed. I received Steven Weinberg, and I pray for him and his loved ones on this 9/11 anniversary.

In loving memory of my special son. i miss you every day, I think of you every day. Always in my heart.
Mom

In memory of Steven. I worked with him at Execu-Search. He loved his family and had a lot of friends. A true mensch. We remained friends after he left and he is truly missed.
