I met your dad through Joe Perry, Marine Corps friend, I am a Marine Staff Sergeant, currently in Iraq, I am from Arlington Heights. I am very sorry for your loss. I am even more proud to be a Marine after reading your dads book. He was a great American and set a good example for future generations.

May he rest in peace.

My deepest sympathy to you for your loss.

I was a student of Master Abbate in the early 90's. Although I was only there for about 9 months or so, he left a lasting impression that I carry with me to this very day.

He was a powerful martial artists, a gifted teacher, and a true motivator that inspired me to achieve my best.

In class once, he was standing by me and commented to Sifu Rocky that I had a lot of heart. To this day I can still hear his voice, and it motivates me...

Your dad took me under his wing and taught me self confidence self reliance and ultimately how to be a man. I loved your father very deeply.I want you to know just how important your father has always been to me. I am looking at a card your dad gave to me when I left for College in 1977. It reads;
