Not sure what to say?

I owe many memories and a lifelong love of music to Mr. Steven Anderson. I was a student of his at Sartell Middle School and was very sad to hear of his passing. He encouraged us to always be at our best, challenged us, and gave us countless special experiences and opportunities. He treated us like musicians, not like middle schoolers and we're all the better for it. Sending thoughts to his friends and family and thanks for having been a part of this wonderful person's life.

Steve was my teacher when I was a middle school band student at Sartell. I don't think I'll ever forget the time he took to help me choose an instrument when getting started with band.

I have many good memories of the times I chatted with Steve while we both worked at Sartell Middle School. He was always a very friendly co-worker. He will be missed by his family and all who knew him.

We all think Steve is a hero and a Messenger from God. He lived life to the fullest, even when his condition had serious holds on him. He was a musician, a teacher, and person of great passion and love. Everyone who knew Steve has a deep and abiding respect for Steve. I will never forget his constant striving to learn more nor the dedication to his students. He lived his life following the truest master teacher--Christ. We all need to take pause and reflect on what a great man Steven J....

My wife Carmen and I knew Steve as our music student at SCSU and later as an outstanding music teacher in the region. We were always impressed by the high standards he upheld as a teacher and the strong commitment to serving students that he lived by. He was one the SCSU music department's most outstanding graduates. We are very saddened by his passing and offer our condolences to his family, friends, all of the students he taught and those future students who will never get the opportunity...

We are all saddened to hear of the passing of Steve. We enjoyed the opportunity to meet him over the past few years and see his work with the orchestra students at Cathedral and the concerts he conducted. He touch many lives through his love of music and will be missed by all. We will continue to pray that the God of peace through Christ Jesus will sustain you and your family during this difficult time.
