Dr. and Mrs. David Averbach: I wish you peace at this sad time and may time heal your sorrow. May your friends ease your pain and may the warmest memories of Steven remain in your heart. He was truly a hero and a very caring person. Although I never met him I feel so sad that he is not here. I pray that his work will live on and be a benefit to all. With deepest sympathy, Shirley Peters, GSCB Treasurer.

Dear Dr. Averbach: I was so sorry to hear about your loss of your son Steven. What a great hero he was and such an inspiration to all young people. Don't know if you remember me or not but I was a nurse anesthetist at MMC many years ago. My husband and I send our deepest sympathy to you and your wife and children. You will be in our thoughts and prayers. Jean Coffee
