Not sure what to say?

My daughter, Heather D., was a long time patient of Dr. Baker. He loved seeing her at each appointment and was a very genuine and dedicated doctor and friend to her and our entire family....we will miss him greatly.

Steve was a neighbor I barely knew ... but each interaction we had was always so pleasant. He certainly was an amazing person now that I read his legacy. Our very best to family and friends. Grief is always greatest at the beginning ... and it takes so much time to lessen ... peace to all in this journey.

Steve was a great friend. I will see you on the back-side Bro. Dwane.

I just found out today of Dr Baker´s passing and it really hit home. He worked with several of the people I work with and this is a tremendous loss for the special needs community. He cared so deeply for these individuals. What a huge loss. To his family:he was a wonderful person! Thoughts and prayers for many months to come...

I always admired Steve especially during our high school days and football seasons. He was a great football player and the singer for our band in high school. RIP Steve. The world is certainly a lesser place without you. With great admiration and the highest regard, Brent Perkins.

So very sorry to hear of Steve´s illness and passing ..such a difference he made to the world of medicine ..thinking of you Joy and Newell and his those he left behind..

I remember when Dr. Baker first came to work at Blue Ridge Mental Health. He was kind and had this witty sense of humor. He was serious about his work with kids and very thorough wanting to make sure that he evaluated and assessed his kids to the best of his ability because he wanted the best for them. Then we had a company event at which he and 3 other Psychiatrist sang, Barber Quartet style and OMG, he could sing. We shared many jokes and laughs for over 3 decades and he became a very...

We had worked with Dr. Baker from many years ago when we worked with foster children and we loved the dedication Dr. Baker poured into each and every child he worked with and every caregiver. He has been such a respected doctor and shown each patient the same respect and caring it will be hard to find someone with his dedication and love for his profession.
