Not sure what to say?

I miss your uplifting, encouraging talks with me. Sometimes I look out the car window on the old Fidelity Bank Building Now Arvest) side of Robert S. Kerr, and without thinking, hope to see you walking so briskly by Leadership Square where I often saw you in days gone by.

I watched Steve’s memorial service online - it was such a wonderful and fitting tribute to a very special person. I first met Steve many years ago when we represented opposing parties in a lawsuit. Steve was a 50 year loyal friend and he will be greatly missed. His professionalism on the Beta housing Corporation board was unequaled . In spite of our vast political differences, he always valued our friendship above all and should serve as an example to all that relationships trump all.

I was in Boy Scouts with Steve and Kent back in the 1960's. We would attend meetings at their home on 66th Street in Urbandale. As I recall, Chuck Stearns was one of the leaders and also lived on 66th Street. Great times! God bless, Steve.
