Steve was there during my High School Years at Palos Verdes High. It was well known that Jim Kinney took good care of him. He was a nice guy and was always fun to talk with. Sleep well my brother, thank for great days gone by.

Steve was the very definition of a kind and gentle soul. I will always remember him as happy and friendly, and all the hello's exchanged traveling up and down the Torrance Beach ramp. There are some things about my youth that I will always be grateful for. Steve is one of them.

The keys. Always the keys. But my favorite memory is when he was very excited about something and he would rub his hands together. You just couldn't help but laugh. We took him to the LA County Fair in Pomona one year. His favorite part was the pig races. His second favorite part was that he could walk around with a beer. Plaza was never a big drinker but it made him feel grown up. Love you, Steve.

I too have known Steve since the Torrance Beach and Plaza Cowboy days! Last time I saw Steve he was walking down the Stand in Hermosa where we both lived, it was in the 90's, he was always great to talk to. You'll always be in our hearts and minds......
