Not sure what to say?

Steve was my swimming coach in eugene for years. He meant a great deal to me and i've thought about him many times over the years. I'm sad to learn he's gone.

It's hard to believe that's it been a year since a beautiful soul has left us. Steve's wonderful smile and encouraging words are missed by all that knew him.

Always in our hearts.....
The Bertsch Family

So sorry to receive this news. I was among Steve's friends at U of M, and have been trying to find him in recent yrs to reconnect.

We spent many fun times on the golf course at U of M. Laughter and good cheer. I am lifted by the memory of his happiness in those time.

Steve was one of the special warm and welcoming people you meet in life. I have no doubt the hole he will leave will be big. Sincere condolences.

We're so sorry for you loss; you are in our prayers. Love, Cousin Rick & Family

Dear Berger Family,

It saddens me to hear about the loss of Steve. He will be missed. My love and prayers to all.

Dear Berger Family,
I was stunned to learn of Steve's passing. He will live forever with the goodness he brought to life, although that can only be a small consolation with the pain you feel now.

Dear Nancy, David and Susie,
The Roach Family are deeply sadened with the passing of Steve. He was one of the good "kids" at church and school. Our prayers are with all of you. We hope the good memories of Steve will sustain you at this grievous time. Blessings and Love, Millie Roach

Dear Berger Family,
I had the opportunity to work with Steve starting in 1986. It was always a treat to interact with him. We at HP/Agilent that came to know him certainly fell a loss. I feel honored to have known him. It was always fun to see him walking in to a meeting wearing Docksiders and no socks !! I think we should institutionalize the "Docs without Socks' for all our meetings so we keep a part of him with us always. All of us at Agilent are thinking about your family and wish...

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.
