To The Borkowski Family, My deepest sympathy for the loss of Steve. He was a good man and he will be missed by all who knew and loved him. May he Rest in Peace. Dennis

I had the great fortune of knowing Steve (Punkin) from the time I was born. He was one of my parents' closest friends, and was one of those people who was always present in my life, even if I did only see him once or twice a year. As a kid, I remember looking forward to Steve and Jan visiting almost as much as Christmas, mainly because I loved having company over, but also because after the initial "catch up / reminiscing" with my parents, they would both play with my sister and me. I remember Steve from many years ago when I dated one of his close friends - we shared many laughs - I am so sorry to hear of his passing - I remember how close he was to his parents and I especially remember his mother being so very sweet. To the Borkowski family:
I am so sorry for your loss. I knew Steve from H.S. He graduated 2 years ahead of me, but I will always remember his smile for all he met. He was a very nice person, a friend to all he came in contact with. I am very sure he will be missed by many. I will always remember him fondly. With my deepest sympathy to you and your family.
Sincerely,
Susan (Baker) Arnold

I worked with Steve @ Preston Trucking and fondly remember the laughs and good times we shared. Rest in Peace

Steve (Punkin) was a fantastic friend for over 36 years. Always there for us from our first date - our wedding day as a member of our party - we shared births of our children, birthdays, communions, graduations, Yankee pennants, LBI summers..great dinners at each others homes. The king of london broil carving...while sipping the king of beers!
We will miss our Punkin, our very dear friend...Heaven just received a gem...Rest in Peace. Jan, Matt and Carrie...we are devastated by your loss...
