I'll always remember "Brew"'s extreme talent playing his bass guitar with the band "APB", which I personally had mostly thought of as standing for "Artimus, "Poet", and "Brew". I fondly still remember his cousin "J.B" (Jerry Brewington) as well from around 1980 and '81 when they'd show up at the Andiron Bar & Grill in Spartanburg, SC to enjoy the rock music scene happening there. Perhaps another particular time and place in 1982 at The Pier Bar in Raleigh , NC that I'll always remember "Bew"...

My deepest sympathy goes out to all of Steve's family and loved ones whoever and wherever they may be. I first heard of his passing from Terry Bratton on Mother's Day and then verified that from a plumber that I knew was his friend on Mon. To Steve's family in this time of sorrow I pray that God will give you comfort and peace. I met Steve at Cleveland Junior High in 7th grade. Over the years we crossed paths quite a few times and each time he was still the same Steve. Walking home from school and stopping in at the ambulance service to chat before heading down to my house on N. Church. The nights his band played at the sock hops at Rollerland. I cannot begin to know what you are dealing with. I am so sorry for your loss!!! I know Steve was a good son and I respected him. I know your family was good to mine when Woody worked for you and Steve was a good boss. If you need me for anything, please let me know.

I am so sorry. I know when we were on the phone Thursday you said he was not doing good. I had no idea he had gotten so sick so quick! If oyu or Vickie need anything, please let me know. Steve and Rhonda were good to me and Woody when Woody worked with you guys. I hate this so bad fo ryou and your family. He WILL be missed!!!
