Rita I hope you are thriving closer to your family and as grandchildren grow they will get to know their grandfather through you

Dr brain was a great doctor very understanding and knowledgeable he really got me and always told me I was probably one of the smallest patients he had I still miss him terribly and we'll always remember him

My husband and I just learned of Steve's passing when we tried to call him. We are shocked and saddened by this and send our sincere condolences to Rita and the entire family. We knew Steve through the Jamestown Yacht club cruises; he was always so positive and full of life, joy, and love for everyone he met. He will most certainly be missed by all who loved him.

I just read that Steve passed. He was my husband's physician before we moved to CT 7 yrs ago. My daughter is sick and now lives in RI.I went on line to find Steve's tel # to give to her and found his obit.I am shocked. He was one of the finest, competent and caring physicians that we have ever known. What a loss to the medical profession and mankind! A very belated sympathy.(As an FYI, my husband also passed in 2015.)

DR Brin I often think of you, you was my first doctor at in 1988 but my health coverage changed and you left Harvard health care, you became my brothers doctor a few years later, I always wanted to visit you often ask my brother how you was I was so shocked you were a great doctor and a good person god is taking care of you now god bless you family

I only recently learned of Dr Brin's passing from a friend. I was both shocked and stunned. I had my last visit with the "Doc" in March of 2014. It was an emotional last visit as I was moving out of state the following month. I told him he was not only my doctor for many years but also a good friend. I just heard of the passing of Dr. Brin. I had several professional interactions over the years with Dr. Brin, always courteous , kind and showed utmost concern for patients in his care.
