Not sure what to say?

To Sally and the family, I was grieved to hear of Steve's passing and can't imagine the loss you must be feeling, even though you are confident that he is enjoying a new life with his Savior. Jolene and I knew Steve primarily through West Hills. My most vivid memory of him is of his sensitivity and care when I chaired the most difficult meeting of my life. He was an encouragement during that meeting and took me out for breakfast the next morning just to encourage me and reflect on what really...

To all the family. We are so sorry to hear of Steve's passing. Our hearts go out to all of you. With deepest sympathy.

To all the Family. We are so sorry to hear of Steve's passing. His family lived right down the street from me in Chalmers. Our hearts go out to all of you. Steve & Debra (Lucas) Herget

I was blessed to have known him. He loved Sally, and his girls so much. I know that they will miss him a lot. He loved his friends and they loved him.

Steve was my neighbor and friend for 17 years. I already miss just hanging with him in the yard discussing the world's problems and the hedge's unreasonable growth rate. We enjoyed so many laughs together. I can see him right now chatting with St. Peter at the Gate, offering to help with masonry and rototilling. He was a wonderful person pulling everyone around him into the aura of joy emanating from his soul. He would ensconce you – make you feel comfortably established in the plushest...

To All of the Family I will say I am so sorry! Steve has been a great teacher with a wonderful personality full of laughter and smiles. He always held himself with such pride about his life and his family and he will/is greatly missed already. We will all miss his attitude and funny sayings around the office. I will miss picking on him about something he can't remember how to do on the computer, or the time spent in his office going through the 6 months worth of photo's that he hadn't quite...

Sally and Family, We are so saddened at Steve's passing. His disease was so fast, we all expected to have him with us longer. But Steve met the disease with his usual calm control. His Faith was apparent as he told our Christ at Work group about his condition and the prognosis. We could see and sense his Faith, it seemed he was looking forward to greeting our Lord. Not that he wanted to leave his Family, but he had Trust in the Lord that He would care for all of you.
We all had such...

Sally and Family ~ What a huge loss! Steve was a pleasure to work with/for. He always had a smile and some crazy little antedote or funny saying. He is greatly missed. I am sorry that I won't be able to make it on Saturday but my thoughts will be with you all. Vicki Lyons

Sally, Amber, Tara, Brad and the entire family. What a tresured sole Steve was. He had such an impact on so many lives and I'll miss him as a partner, friend and mentor. Without him I could not have reached many of the accomplishments I have made. I'll miss his sense of humor and the all the funny sayings he had that could cover just about any occassion. Always a good sport even when the joke was on him. Taking a quick cat name at his desk with his feet up thinking no one ever saw him,...
