Dr. Steven Charles BuckinghamMemphis, TNDr. Steve Buckingham, a man who disliked frivolous euphemisms, passed away on November 24, 2015. Among his many accomplishments as a doctor, I wish to extol his lesser-known achievements. Steve flossed his teeth daily; he did not put Q-tips into his ear...

Not sure what to say?

I just came across this obituary on a news website, it was beautifully written and it seems you lost a wonderful man, judging by what's written you seem to be a great family as well. I will pray for you and you will be in my thoughts. God bless.

I am deeply saddened for your loss. I worked with Steve for almost 5 years at LeBonheur. Whenever I asked about his children, he would always have pictures to show. He was a wonderful colleague and friend.

And thus the great pass all too soon...

My condolences on your loss, and my congratulations for an obviously wonderful husband and father, full of life and living. It is said in my faith, that his energy will bind with that of the universe and it comforts me knowing that the universe will be the better for it.

I have a son named Kyle. he is a Pediatrician and from what is written of Dr. Buckingham they would have enjoyed great conversations. My prayers to the family.

May God bless you.

Dr. Sepulveda, Ashley, Amber, & Kyle, you all are in our prayers. I know that you've lost an amazing part of you & your life, but always remember that there is comfort in the arms of God. You're in my prayers. I love you all and sincere and deepest condolences. Keep your heads up and keep smiling.

Love you,

Ashley, Aryn, Leroy, & Hannah

What a man! Like most of the other guests, I did not know Dr. Buckingham, but it sounds like he was the icing on a perfect cake. Sorry for the euphemism. Condolences to his family.

What a great honor and privilege it has been to work with Steve as our medical director. He was always so supportive of our team. We will miss his wit, his bright blue eyes, and the memories of our lunch meetings at Café Eclectic. We greatly respect his commitment to his wife and family and those frequent family vacations. He knew what was important in life. What an amazing legacy he left for all who knew him. We miss you, Steve.
