Not sure what to say?

Give your mom a big hug and kiss!! She has always loved you and now you two are together again in Heaven. You will always be part of my life! I miss you daily and your mom too!

Today marks the 11 year anniversary of Steve's accident. It doesn't seem that long ago and at times the heartache is so fresh. I think about him all the time. I was just telling my boys the other day how well their uncle Steve could ride a unicycle. Little goofy stories pop into my head all the time. Reading Jason's last entry about whoever thought Steve on a four-wheeler was a good idea made me think about the last 4th of July we had with him when he rolled his wheeler going up the hill at...

Another hunting season with little success, but many good stories. Only Steve truely understands how much he is missed. Who ever thought Steve on a 4-wheeler was a good idea.....so many awesome stories. Man are you missed!!!

Christmas is quickly approaching and my thoughts go to Steve often. The picture I keep on the visor of my car is of Steve and me from Christmas 1998. Christmas was his favorite holiday. Since having two little boys of my own, Christmas has once again become my favorite holiday, but it wasn't that way for a long, long time. I try to share as much as I can with Steve and Luke about their uncle, age appropriate stuff of course. I still laugh about the time we were going to send balloons up...

Nine years ago Steve left us... hard to believe how quick the time goes by. Every now and then some memory hits me and can make me laugh until I cry. I love those moments and am grateful for the memories I have.

I continue to tell my boys about their Uncle Steve and encourage anyone who knew him to do the same.

Thinking of you Steve, today and always.

Happy Birthday Cousin! Your memory lives on. I still remember you like I saw you yesterday. We shared the best of times and your life will live on forever!!! Your stories are timeless and are shared all the time!! I miss you like you can’t believe!!

Has it really been 8 years? My heart aches like it was yesterday. Thinking of you little brother.

Steve,
Your nephew was born on November 27, 2006 at 12:20 a.m. He weighed 9 pounds, 1 3/4 ounces and was 21 inches long. He is so beautiful. Wish you were here to meet him.

Little brother, it's been fours years today and still seems like yesterday you left us. I wish you were here to meet your nephew who is due on November 23rd. In honor of your memory we are naming him after you: Steven William Thomas. Thinking of you always!
