Not sure what to say?

It's been so damn long and I still haven't been able to get rid of the pain from the lost of the best man I've ever been privileged to have known and to be a part of his life. I felt like nothing I could say, would ever measure up to the level of respect and recognition that my hanai pop deserves. He wasn't the type to need, or want recognition, but rather would prefer to see the results of positive actions. The gift he gave me was to provide everything I would need to not only live, but to...

To remember Steve is to celebrate the joy he brought to so many friends. We miss him being with us through so many times but know he is still with us in spirit. I take comfort in knowing John is with him I heaven. Love to all, Suzy Showen

Obviously it's been a very long time since I saw Steve (or Mr Buswell as I knew him), but still sad to see the passing of someone that obviously meant a lot to a great family. For whatever reason, to this day, every time I see a small truck with a ladder rack in the bed I think of him.

Steve was a wonderfull Christian man, and was so sad to hear of his passing. He always said we were related, even though it was through marriage. I know he is singing in his beautiful baritone voice with the angels. I know his family and friends are going to miss him, but we will see him again.

You never forget a smile and laugh like Steve has. May he give his gift in heaven as he did here. We are all the better having our lives touched by him.

I just found out tonight that you are no longer with us in body, but you will always be in the hearts of those who knew you. Sincere sympathy to Joella and the family. What a large hole he must have left in so many hearts. As a friend from his youth I am happy to have known him and shared time seeing his smile and hearing that great belly laugh. I would call him a true friend. One of many. My prayers to Joella and his family members.

Steve was so genuine, cheerful and loving, a common thread I see thru all the comments. I was saddened to learn of his passing, and wish to extend my condolences to his family. Your husband, father, brother and grandfather made a difference in so many people's lives, including mine. God bless you and may your memories of Steve bring you joy in the coming days.
