Not sure what to say?

Although it's been four years, there is seldom a day I don't think of my old pal; maybe just a fleeting recollection of some silly moment together, but more likely one of those leads to many others. With nearly 70 years of friendship, there are so many things we shared, memories that make his absence somewhat bearable. He was a one off and those that knew him, will forever remember him.

To your family:
Very sorry for your loss!
In my thoughts & prayers indeed!
Home with Jesus.......

Susan and family,
As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

It’s hard to put into words the impact Mr Cannell had on my life. I’ve been trying for the past week or so to articulate it. His kids Elizabeth and Jeff mean the world to me. That’s another two separate posts for different days. It took a special kind of man to raise such extraordinary people. Every year when i do my taxes I have Mr Cannell to thank because he taught me how and I was just one of many people that he generously gave his time to in that way. For many years he did our taxes when...

Dear Cannell Family,

We send our love and condolences to you. Steve will be missed by so many. We hope your treasured memories will bring you peace.

What an incredibly wonderful man! I love the intention by which he lived and how he was very present to others during his time on earth. Such a servant and great help to others. As well as relationally committed to others.

I have always loved hearing how much Jeff, Adrienne, Kathleen, & Ian have loved and enjoyed him over these many years. So much quiet respect I would have for them as I listened to them rave on their dad and granddad & share stories of his goodness.

This is devastating news for me. My prayers for Steve and all the Cannell family

God bless Steve and God bless the Cannell family. I got to know Steve through his wife Susan and what a pleasure it was! What a fun great guy! Susan I hope you are doing well and we pray with you and the Cannell family.
Steve Pickett

Steve was my oldest and dearest friend, a friendship of nearly 70 years. He was a unique person in may ways - his humor, his smile, his passion for life, but most of all, his love for his family and friends, his unbounded kindness to others, his generosity and his loyalty. All that knew him were blessed to have shared the goodness that made Steve Cannell so special.
My thoughts and prayers to his family and especially to his loving wife, Susan, who gave him so much happiness these last...
